Had to go a little north of Taos to see the Rio Grande Gorge
which was certainly awe-inspiring and then we took the Taos scenic by-way back
to Santa Fe. The scenery was lovely,
lots of forest and green. We made a stop
at the Santuario de Chimayo. We were expecting
a small sanctuary but it is quite a large area now and there are plans to make
it bigger yet.
Got back to Santa Fe to find that Heckyl and Jeckyl were
having trouble getting the new pump to work and were going to install the
complete assembly rather than just the pump and hopefully that will work fine,
of course they are very optimistic they will have it done today. We decided we weren’t going to drive around
aimlessly and instead got a hotel room.
If, they do manage to get it working today, we’ll just pick it up and go
on tomorrow.

We checked into the hotel at 3 pm and got a call at 4:30 that the RV was
ready so we went and picked it up and it is now here at the hotel. We will drop off the rental car tomorrow
morning and be on our way.
Looks like you had a little Fiat for a rental. Pat really thinks that they look sharp.
